Alex Kimathi holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Degree from the University of Nairobi’s School of Law.
He has over ten years in legal practice having been admitted to the bar in 2009.
Alex did his Pupillage at Anjarwalla & Khanna Advocates where he was trained on legal practice generally and gained experience in Corporate & Commercial Law and Conveyancing, Property and Banking Law.
Upon successful completion of his pupillage, Alex was retained by the Firm as an Associate and served as such in the Corporate & Commercial Department as well as in the Property, Conveyancing and Banking Department for over two years.
Thereafter, Alex left Anjarwalla & Khanna Advocates and joined Njoroge Regeru & Company Advocates as an Associate in the Commercial, Conveyancing and Banking Department and left after serving for over two years to join Iseme, Kamau & Maema Advocates’ Commercial Department.
Being satisfied and confident of the training, expertise and experience gained in his legal practice career, Alex left Iseme, Kamau & Maema Advocates to establish MKK Advocates in partnership with Bahati Mwamuye and David Kimani in 2013.
Alex’s areas of specialisation include Corporate & Commercial Law; Property, Conveyancing and Banking Law as well as Immigration Law.
